WhatsApp is, clearly, one of the most convenient apps to use at the time of communicating with our family, friends, acquaintances or whoever is not in front of us. Not only is WhatsApp has a number of amazing qualities, but the software is completely free, which makes it even more attractive.

Among its basic characteristics, WhatsApp is an app that doesn’t require an excellent connection in order to send messages, as its data packaging is extremely efficient all the time. This makes it so much better than any other software (such as Facebook messenger, Line, Wechat or others). Furthermore it also provides you with a wide array of emoticons in order to express yourself as good as if you were talking with that person face to face.

Among the most remarkable innovations that we see in newer versions of WhatsApp are the voice message, the expansion in emoticon type, and the so well regarded phone call. Before this, making a call with any other software was extremely complicated and sometimes it wasn’t even free. WhatsApp has changed that for good. With its call system we can communicate with anybody who uses WhatsApp (which means a huge amount of people). Same as sending messages, a WhatsApp call does not require an excellent connection, which means that an acceptable connection will provide and excellent communication with no lagging or choppy sound.

The voice message keeps being extremely useful among those who need to talk with another person but due to schedule constraints can only leave a message to be picked up but the receiver hours later. There is no specific limit of minutes as to how big the voice message can be. However, the bigger the message, the more it will take for it to get sent. But do not worry, data is so efficiently sent that it will not take more than a few seconds.

Last but not least, the renewed system of emoticons has become more ethnically and politically inclusive, as now, there are some emoticons that can be rendered in different skin tones. This characteristic speaks of the inclusion of any ethnicity over the stereotypical “white” which was commonplace and dominant before.

For the ones who still do not have the latest version, do not worry, as WhatsApp will automatically prompt update once that version cannot be utilized any more. The usual update will be through Google Play Store, one of the greatest websites in terms of Android software. On the other hand, if you feel you cannot wait to get the latest version of WhatsApp, you can simply resort to the APK version, which you can download it from the APK Mirror webpage. There will be a series of steps to follow in order to download it and successfully install it. However they are not difficult to configure at all, at the time of installing the APK version.
